I see patients in person at my office in Corte Madera three days a week. A small portion of my caseload is reserved for teletherapy sessions. Teletherapy is provided to those who are unable to attend appointments due to specific circumstances including mobility issues, lack of transportation, and medical concerns. If teletherapy is something that you are interested in, we can discuss this option during your consultation to see if it is the right fit.

WHERE DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES?

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS?

Intake sessions as 90 minutes in length. Follow up sessions are 50 minutes in length. Shorter or longer sessions are provided upon request and when clinically indicated. These sessions are prorated and based on my hourly rate. I charge for phone calls lasting longer than 10 minutes and email responses that require 15 or more minutes of my clinical time.

HOW OFTEN WILL WE MEET?

The frequency of therapy differs for each person and is dependent on a variety of factors. Following your intake, we will see each other weekly for one to two months. This frequency at the outset allows me to better understand the nature of your concerns and for us to continue building the therapeutic relationship. We will check in regularly about how the cadence is feeling and whether any changes need to be made. While some patients are seen weekly for the entirety of their treatment, we may decide to meet every other week as symptoms decrease and you start to feel better. Conversely, there may be times where may need to meet twice a week week due to an elevation in symptoms or concerns that cannot be adequately addressed on a once-a-week basis. The topic of frequency is something that we will discuss collaboratively and on a regular basis throughout the course of you treatment.

DO YOU PRESCRIBE MEDICATIOn?

No. I have a doctorate in clinical psychology, and therefore do not prescribe medication. If we determine that medication support may be beneficial in your treatment, I am happy to help provide you with appropriate referrals to either a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner. If you are already receiving medication management, I engage in regular communication with these providers to ensure a streamlined and collaborative approach to your care.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

I require 72 hours (3 business days) notice for cancellation in order to avoid a cancellation fee.
